All providers of swimming lessons. Pool IT is unique in organizing the administration for swimming lessons, as opposed to recording the results of swimming club galas.

Pool IT saves vast amounts of staff time. It's auto-allocation of pupils to courses can handle 1800 names and allocate them onto 190 courses in about 4 secs.
Will it run on our computer ?
If you have a PC running Windows 95 or better you can run Pool IT. If you are running Windows98 it would be advisable to have 128Mb RAM on each work station.
Is it multi user ?
Yes. Pool IT is multi user on most networks – Server based LAN, Peer to peer, Or Thin Client.
Will it take up much room on our system ?
No. The whole program and library files occupy less than 7 MB. We have a system which has 2000+ current pupils on 200+ courses with a 12 year history involving over 45000 records in less than 20 MB.
Can I run my own type of courses ?
Yes, you can set up your own swim scheme. However, Pool IT can be shipped with the ASA National Teaching Plan syllabus criteria loaded. You can amend this or change it completely if you wish.
If the ASA change the syllabus, do I have to re-type it all ?
No. We are arranging to be able to upgrade your syllabus as and when there are changes.
Does it take into account things like ethnic mix, or requirements for single sex classes ?
Pool IT can set up single sex classes and allocate pupils to those classes who require them.
Does it have a badge stock control ?
Yes. And Pool IT will print out a reorder sheet for your supplier.
Do I have to type in all the data again to make a new term’s records ?
No ! Pool IT has a simple carry over system which allows a new term to be planned while you are still working with the current term data. A simple to follow check list creates new classes and allocates pupils to those classes in accordance with the teachers recommendations.
Will Pool IT produce course statistics for management information ?
Yes. Analysis of time allocated to each level of course, maximum numbers of pupils and take up rate, as well as possible and actual income can be viewed and printed at any in time in seconds.
Will Pool IT Schools produce pupil progress statistics for performance analysis ?
Yes. Pool IT Schools will produce statistical reports showing how many pupils achieved the required level during a particular period. These reports can be viewed on-screen or printed to hard copy.
